I'm Alexey Timin, a software engineer and the creator of ReductStore, a time-series object store built for edge AI, robotics, computer vision, and industrial data.
Systems in Practice is where I write personal notes about building and using ReductStore in real systems. The focus is storage, edge data, deployment constraints, customer use cases, and the engineering decisions that only become visible when software has to run in production.
I use this blog to document practical lessons rather than polished marketing stories: what worked, what did not, why certain trade-offs were made, and how ReductStore fits into existing systems without forcing teams to rebuild everything around it.
